As part of our Mother and Baby Assessment Unit, we are developing a dedicated hydrotherapy (hydropool) facility to support the recovery and wellbeing of mothers and their babies.
This will form an integral part of our therapeutic approach, providing a calm, supportive environment where mothers and babies can engage in structured, water-based interventions.
Hydrotherapy uses warm water to support both physical and emotional wellbeing. It is widely used in healthcare settings to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and support recovery.
Within a perinatal setting, it can offer a gentle and nurturing space for mothers and babies to connect.
The hydropool will provide a safe, therapeutic environment that supports both emotional wellbeing and physical recovery for mothers and their babies.
These benefits will be delivered as part of a structured therapeutic programme, supported by trained professionals and integrated into each mother’s individual care plan.
